IntraUterine Insemination (IUI) is a popular method involving a motile sperm and is placed into the female uterus using a catheter. The sperm is placed after the release of an egg during a stimulated or natural cycle so that conception takes place.

Females with cervical scarring, poor cervical mucus, or cervicitis, and males with erectile dysfunction or mild sperm abnormalities can choose IUI that is an ideal treatment option for increasing the likelihood of getting pregnant. The IUI treatment is not an ideal option for females with blocked fallopian tubes.
Before starting the procedure, both male and female partners are examined and evaluated. Then male semen analysis is performed.
